Abyss Web Server X2 on Windows 10 x64
MySQL 8.0.28
MariaDB 10.8.3
PHP 7.2.28 (works correctly)
PHP 8.0.1 (error)
3 sites running Chrome-Fusion v2.00.03 successfully for the past 6+ months.
Step 1 (PHP 7.2.28):
Ran the activator.php successfully.
Step 2 (PHP 7.2.28):
Executed the Upgrade from the administrator menu, but there were 2 problems in the upgrade.php file:
Zitat Lines 1-46 are duplicated on lines 48-93; and
lines 133-159 are also duplicated on lines 161-187
I removed lines 1-46 and lines 161-187.
Step 3 (PHP 7.2.28):
Executed the Upgrade from the administrator menu successfully. Admin panel show that I am now running v3.02.03
Step 4 (PHP 8.0.10):
When I switch that site from PHP 7.2.28 to 8.0.10 (or 8.1.0 or 8.1.17), I get the following error:
Zitat Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class "mysqli" not found in D:\Web\host~PanAurora-Tech.com\CMS\chromefusion\panauroratech-com_chromefusion_v2\includes\db_handlers\mysqli_functions_include.php:122 Stack trace: #0 D:\Web\host~PanAurora-Tech.com\CMS\chromefusion\panauroratech-com_chromefusion_v2\maincore.php(62): dbconnect() #1 D:\Web\host~PanAurora-Tech.com\CMS\chromefusion\panauroratech-com_chromefusion_v2\frontpage.php(12): require_once('...') #2 {main} thrown in D:\Web\host~PanAurora-Tech.com\CMS\chromefusion\panauroratech-com_chromefusion_v2\includes\db_handlers\mysqli_functions_include.php on line 122
When I switch from 8.x.x back to 7.2.28, everything works correctly, but when I go back to 8.x.x, I get that same Fatal error.
As you are using MariaDB, I installed MariaDB but get the exact same error.
That test website is https://www.panaurora-tech.com (so you can see the error).
Regards,
John
EDITED:
I don't know why that during the night, I was getting the above error in step 4, but now I am no longer receiving that (or any) error. My upgrade of Chrome-Fusion from v2.00.03 to v3.02.03 seems to work perfectly now, and currently running on PHP 8.1.7
There is still the duplication in the upgrade.php file for the top & bottom sections, though, which as-is still needs to be removed in order for upgrade.php to run.
