Hello, Patrick,
First, I wish to thank you for your time & effort in creating the modifications to PHP-Fusion 7.02.07, with the resulting product being your Chrome-Fusion v2 .
I also wish to thank you for your time & effort in modifying PHP-Fusion 7.x infusions to work with your Chrome-Fusion v2 , of which I use 2 of on my site.
I am going to contact Robert (Smokeman) directly to report a bug in his DeLuxe Dropdown Menu bar, and (if he is willing to develop it further) to see if he is willing & has the time to add some enhancements to it.
Assuming that he does indeed modify his code, how much work would be involved for you to modify his new release to work with your Chrome-Fusion v2?
Although, I am wondering if my problem with DeLuxe Dropdown Menu 1.2 is caused by something that happened when you modified it for your Chrome-Fusion?
If you look at THIS page on my site, if you look at Smokeman's green DeLuxe Dropdown Menu bar, notice how his 1 icon and all the labels are aligned vertically in the center. Now look at my grey menu bar, and you'll notice that labels without an icon are centered vertically; however, those labels with an icon have their icons at the top edge of the menu bar, and the text in labels themselves have moved down from center.
I will see what Robert thinks of where the problem might be.
I look forward to any new releases of your Chrome-Fusion v2, particularly for PHP 8. I realize that 2.00.03 is for PHP 7.2.x, but it installed fine when I was using PHP 7.4.0. I did have to roll my PHP down to 7.2.28 in order for External Page Wrapper to work, though.
Thank you again for your time & dedication to keep PHP-Fusion 7 alive with your Chrome-Fusion v2, it is greatly appreciated.
Have yourself a great day, and be safe.
Tschüß,
John

I will look at the code of the infusion again and see if I can find the error. If I find the error I will fix it.
The infusions were only modified by me to be compatible with Chrome Fusion and the new variables.
A new version of Chrome-Fusion is already in developement and will then have php 8.1 support.
If the new Chrome-Fusion version is online, all infusion will be revised to be php 8.1 compatible. |

Hello, Patrick.
Please hold off checking the code of this infusion for now. I have signed up on Robert's Tips site in Denmark, and I'm waiting for him to activate my account, so I can ask him about this problem in his Forums.
Thank you for the offer, though, I will let you know what I find out from him.
Have yourself a great week.
Regards,
John |

If you need a Beta tester for your next Chrome-Fusion, I am running MySQL 8.0.28, and for PHP I am currently running 7.2.28, but in less than 3 seconds I can switch to 8.1.0 . |

I heard back from Robert's Tips site in Denmark, but he is no longer with that site. The moderator of that site replied to me, but he does not have the PHP knowledge to help me with my DeLuxe Dropdown Menu problems.
As I am still very happy to use that menu without any icons, I'm a happy man, and sincerely grateful that you have breathed new life into PHP-Fusion 7 with your wonderful Chrome-Fusion . But please do NOT bother investigating my DeLuxe Dropdown Menu problems, there is no need for that anymore.
I see that more than 1.000 people have downloaded your 2.00.03 so far, so I am going to post a new question in your Forums regarding how I can modify my Chrome Fusion theme slightly.
Thank you again for Chrome-Fusion, I appreciate your expertise & dedication.
Tschüß,
John |

Thank you for your answer. You can use all the themes from the original php-fusion v7.02.xx, but some themes needed to be modified if they have some variables like iADMIN or rank number.
Here you can find all current variables: FAQ Variables |
